He was predeceased by: his parents, John Atkinson (Jack) and Marie Atkinson; his wife Rose Rees (Welsh); his brothers, Edward Atkinson and Donald Atkinson; and his son-in-law Bob Lague.
He is survived by: his children, William [Bill] (Valerie), Lois Wagner (Glenn) and Linda Atkinson; his sister-in-law Marie Atkinson; his grandchildren, Lori Karlsson (Keith), Rob Atkinson (Kathryn), Andrew Wagner (Jilaire), Curtis Wagner (Janet), Jeff Wagner (Mandy), Bobby Lague and William (Bill); and his extended family England. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
