She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Scott and Janet Scott; her grandfather Colin; her husband Colin Ashmead; and her siblings, Chester, Clayton, Verne and Irene.

She is survived by: her son Neil Scott (Vicki); her granddaughter Jaylene Stone (Desmond); her great grandchildren, Luna and Isabelle; her grandson Jaret Scott (Jill); her great grandchildren, Karter and Aubrie; and her siblings, Irving Scott (Alice) and Shirley Geddes (David). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
