With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Neil McDonald in Melfort, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Beverley Potter; his parents, Donald McDonald and Muriel McDonald; and his siblings, Jean, Helen, Ken and Donnie.
He is survived by: his children, Linda of Leduc, AB, Valerie of Eastend, SK, Robert (Lana) of Saskatoon, SK and Janet (Marlon) of Okotoks, AB; his grandchildren, Joshua (Natasha), Christopher (Morgan), Danielle (Kirk), Amanda, Alissa (Josh), Kayla (Chris), Cody (Nicole) and Carson; his great grandchildren, Lynden, Denver, Jayden, Andrew, Elouise, Oliver, Brooklynn, Layla, Everly, Mikayla and Austin; and his sister Elaine of Saskatoon. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Church (315 Lenore Dr, Saskatoon, SK S7K7Z5).
