He was predeceased by: his parents, William Assman and Irene Assman; and his wife Edna Friesen. He is survived by: his grandchild Dean; his children, Dennis and Deanna Bobier (Brent); his grandchildren, Christopher and Megan; his son Dean Assman (Heidi); his grandsons, Mitchell, Eric and Scott; his children, David Assman and Debbie Assman; his grandchildren, Kianna (Mike), Marshal and Taylen; his sisters, Sharon Skotheim and Carol Mathies (Raymond); and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Loos (Brian) and Murray Richards (Mabel). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
