He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsa Hollinger (Platz) and Valentine Hollinger; his siblings, Richard, Gordon, Alfred, Emma, Dorothy and Elfrieda; his nephew Mitchell Hollinger; and his niece Lorrie McKay (Hack).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wendel; his siblings, Clifford, David (Sadie), Gilbert (Debbie) and Alice Rathgeber (Wes); and his brothers-in-law, Mike Potoroka and Vern Hack. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
