She was predeceased by: her parents, George Miller and Emelia Miller; and her siblings, Erna Hauser (Fred), Otto, Erwin, Walter and Reinhold (Adeline).

She is survived by: her husband William Schindel; her daughters, Ruth Gaura (Wayne) and Gail Hoffman (Wayne); her grandchildren, Stefanie Viczko (Scott), Brandon Hoffman (Mickolene) and Austin Gaura (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Kallie, Mason Viczko and William Gaura (Liam); her stepgranddaughters, Nichole (Lance) and Reagan; and her sister-in-law Helen Miller.
