She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Whittal and Belva Whittal; her husband Roch; and her grandsons, Luke and Alex.
She is survived by: her children, Roger (Gilda), Denis (Laura), Janet (Irvin Gulash), Kenneth (Cheryl Milne), Diana (Darren Hornung), David (Nancy) and Rochelle (David Brereton); and her sister Earla Cottingham (Coulter). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
