He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Sies and Katherine Sies; and his siblings, Regina, Irene, Victor, Richard (Kathe), Gordon (Rose), Arthur (Lillian) and Winston.
He is survived by: his wife Georgina; his children, Kathleen Zerr (Hugh), Sharon Piller (Brian), Stuart Sies (Kathleen) and Betty Armbruster (Todd); his grandchildren, Diane Zerr, Paul Zerr (Lisa), Kristopher Schmidt (Meghan), Rebecca Flaman (Kyle), Sarah Schmidt (Adam Bunz), Jordan Sies (Jacklyn), Nolan Sies (Raeanne), Brianna Ward (Kyle), Bettina Sies (Eric Asbjornhus), Jillian Armbruster (Landon Ulmer) and Ryan Armbruster (Breanne); his great grandchildren, Rielles, Mac Gibbons, Ava, Owen Schmidt, Leila, Deacon Flaman, Jayla, Scottie, Ally Sies, Benson, Ryker Sies, Nyah, Mila, Leda Ward, Blake Ulmer and Charlie Armbruster; his sister Marion Harper (Glen Buettner); and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Sies and Margaret Sedgwick. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
