He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Lang and Appolonia Lang; his wife Jeanette Hain; and his siblings, Anna (Henry), Rosie (Peter), Mary (John), Eda (Adolph), Frank (Anne), Kasper and Martin (Katie).
He is survived by: his children, Doug, Trevor, Robyn, Gary, Laverne Rathgeber (Ralph) and Karen Slack (Murray); his grandchildren, Jesse (Maria) and Arron; and his sister-in-law Shirley Mountney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
