He is survived by: his children, Kip McCloy (Nelly), Kim McCloy, Janice Istace (Terry) and Shannon McCloy (Alan); his son-in-law Rob Istace; his grandchildren, Candace Redekopp (Jason), Brandon Istace (Chay) and Devin Istace (Eve); his great grandchildren, Ava, Clara Redekopp, Cash and Olivia Istace; and his sister-in-law Jean McCloy.

Memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion or to the Western Development Museum.
