He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruby Bautz; his parents, Gustav Bautz and Emma Bautz; his brothers, Art, Harold, Henry, Elmer, Larry and Lorne; his siblings-in-law, Vivian Bautz and Elmer Schaefer of Brian Stewart; and his siblings' children, Dean Bautz, Terri Bautz, Stewart Bautz and Carla Bautz.

He is survived by: his spouse Ruby Heidecker; his granddaughter Shanna; his friend Cheryl Niebrugge; his daughter Shelby Niebrugge; his wife Rita Bautz; his children, Sharon Bautz, Sean Bautz, Amy Bautz, Brody Bautz (Shannon), Finley Bautz, Darlene Jones, Arianna Jones, Isabel, Benjamin, Nathan, David Bautz (Marissa) and Mary; his siblings, Edmund Bautz, Daneda Gaillard (Ed), Eldon Bautz (Marie), Ewald Bautz, Annette Stewart and Elsie Schaefer; his sisters-in-law, Marianne Bautz, Sandy Bautz and Elaine Bautz; and also, Allan Bautz (Carol), Chase, Brock, Nattilie, Rhyce, Shanna (Craig Christianson), Kendell Bautz, Dominique (Aaron Handley), Danielle Jones and Amber (Dylan McKay). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
