She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Pickering of Wilcox; her parents, Murdo "Scotty" Simpson and Caroline; her brother Frank Simpson; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Simpson, Stanley Button, Maurice Pickering and Bob Pickering.

She is survived by: her children, Howard Pickering (Pam), Connie McKim (Wade), Barb Bryan (Mike), Ian Pickering (Leanna) and Jason Pickering (Callie); her grandchildren, Cary (Jeannie), Tyler (Katherine), Jesse, Sarah (Nate), Jordan (Kim), Lauren (Eric), Carlee (Scotty), Amy (Jevin), Erin (Hailey), Cameron, Aidan, Malcolm and Ewan; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Leah, Connor, Jaxson, Lukus, Sloane, Maisie, Daisy and Willow; her siblings, Jean Button and Ron Simpson; her sisters-in-law, Gloria Simpson, Dorothy Pickering and Gloria Pickering; and her niece Michele Reynolds (Lyn). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
