With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Hlavka of Minton, Saskatchewan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his daughter Valerie Storle; his parents, Albert Hlavka and Rosalin Hlavka; his in-laws, Hjalmer and Evelyn Nyhus; and his siblings, John, Julianna and Eleanora.
He is survived by: his family, Blake Storle (Jami), Daylee, Kaci, Grady, Brad Storle (Brittany), London, Dillon, Everleigh, Bridget Cain (Tyler), Quinn, Hayden, Verlene Chaput (Don, family: Crystal Chaput, Nicole Chaput, Connor), Harvey Hlavka (Sharon, family: Joshua Hlavka, Lily), Jacobi, Nash, Austin, Attison, Stephanie VanDeSype (Trevor), Mason, Kara Wild (Ryan), Ethan, Garrett, Alyson Hlavka (Evan), Weston and Murray Hlavka (Carrie, family: Jolynn, John); and his siblings-in-law, Reta Szakacs and Wilfred Nyhus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Rd Family Funeral Chapel (1825 1 Ave NE, Weyburn, SK S4H0A1). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Minton Community Hall.
