He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hewalo and Annie Hewalo; his spouse Laurencia (Coupal); his children, Kim (Glenda), Lorie (Duane), Donnie (late Sharon) and Lisa (Del); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Stephanie (Dana), Chantelle (Markus), Jessica (Cory), Britney (Landon), Courtney (Dylan), Kristina (Clint), Chad (Roxanne), Michaela (Zakk), Mathew, Mitchell (Caleigh), Tanner (Natalie) and Kaitlyn.
