He is survived by : his mother Leora Pieper; his wife Judy Gale; his children, Jerrit William and Hayley Jocelyn Downton; his son-in-law Mike; his granddaughters, Elsa, Sloane and Phoenix; his sister Cheryl Coombs (Terry); his mother-in-law Elsa Freimanis; and his brothers-in-law, Peter Freimanis (Nora McKee) and Bob Freimanis (Kim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
