He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Elizabeth; his former wife Beverly; and his siblings, Kenneth Swanson, Dale Brack and Shirley Talbot.
He is survived by: his wife Lily; his children, Dean Swanson (Karon), Denise Gubrud (Gary), David Swanson (Jo Anne) and Brian Swanson (Venetta); his grandchildren, Andrew Gubrud, Jenilee Gaudon (Sheldon), Tavis, Emily, Braeden, Julianne and Danica; his great grandchild Luna; and his sister Frances Bechard (Ted). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
