He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Monique Sereda; his grandson Thomas Hamilton; and his siblings, Rose Sereda, Olga Zadorozniak (Willie) and Emil Sereda (Doreen).
He is survived by: his wife Olga; his children, Cathy Jabusch (Kirby), Carolyn Hamilton (Ian), Gary Sereda (Michelle) and David Sereda; his grandchildren, Brianna Megawache (Nidal), Carmen Williams (Cody), Andrew Hamilton (Amanda), Rachel Hamilton, Calli Sereda and Keena Sereda; his great grandchildren, Rafael Meghawache and Ella Williams; his sisters, Pauline Sereda, Anne Poole (Ed), Louise Strohan (Myron), Sophie Schebel (Steve) and Angie Sereda; and his brother-in-law Dan Woloschuk (Vi).
