She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Fontaine and Clara Fontaine; her husband Paul Fuchs; her daughter Carol; and her son-in-law Dale.

She is survived by: her sister Cecile Toma; her children, Olive Rust, Darrell Fuchs and Ron Fuchs; and her grandchildren, Kenny Rust, Mark Rust Trevor Rust, Quentin Fuchs, Shane Fuchs, Crystal Breault and Jenelle Millar. She is also survived by 15 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
