He was predeceased by: his father Neil Hooey; his brother Garth Hooey; his daughter Alisha Hooey; his grandparents, Christina, Frank Hooey, Melvin (Jack) and Margaret Erickson (Mable); and also Donna Huber.
He is survived by: his children, Matt Hooey of Moose Jaw, SK and Chantal Hooey of Saskatoon, SK; his granddaughter Wynter; his mother Doris Hooey; his siblings, Gayle Nielsen (Rob Just), Sheila Dixon (Don Heinrichs), Lori Hooey (Rob Middlemiss), Shelley Hooey, Tricia Hooey (Darren Curry) and Keith Hooey; and his significant other Nicole Wenner. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnephews, and grandniece as well as his extensive pool family and many friends.
