He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie and Joan; his son Jordan; his brother John; and his in-laws, Leo and Ann Fichter.

He is survived by: his wife Susan; his daughter Jennifer (Al); his grandsons, Kaleb (Paige), Kolby (Tiana) and Kooper; his sisters, Barbara Hanna and Pat Armstrong; his sisters-in-law, Cindy McMorris (Don) and Darcy Thiesen; and his nephews, Brenden, Royce, Troy, Riley, Dustin, Craig and Mark.
