He is survived by: his children, Glenda Hicks Carroll (Brian), Rhonda Smith, Mona Smith Lebel (Barry) and Cory Smith (Coralie); his grandchildren, Amanda Hixson (Steve), Tianna Hicks Otten (Colby), Dylan Hicks (Jasmine), Austin Thirsk, Dallas Smith and Ella Smith; his great grandchildren, Mikaya Hixson, Rhylan Hixson, Westyn Hixson, Kynlee Hixson, Dawson Otten, Ellie Otten and Hayes Gillis; his brother Clayton Smith; and his close friend Eleanor Medlock. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home (268 Mulberry Ln, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 1N4).
