It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Mae Wassmer (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan), born in Frontier, Saskatchewan, who passed away on February 9, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ernie; her parents, Mandius Akre and Clara Akre; her sister Olida Christensen; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Wassmer, Ann Meyers, Margaret Wassmer, Neil Christensen and Leo Seibel.

She is survived by: her children, Kirk (Colleen) of Didsbury, AB and Karla Nogue (Marcel) of Saskatoon, SK; her grandchildren, Emma, Anna, Gillian, Ethan and Brielle; and her sisters, Mazie Seibel of Moose Jaw, SK and Fran Benedictson (Gilbert) of Edmonton, AB.

Memorial donations in Mom's name can be sent to the Parkridge Centre Recreation Therapy Department to support the provision of music programs for residents.
