She was predeceased by: her father Jacob Thomas; her husband William Thomas Thorpe; and her close friend Edward Andrew Saathoff. She is survived by: her children, Scott Thomas (Leatta), Melissia Thomas and Virginia Thomas; her mother Marjorie L Burgess; and her sisters, Charlotte Thomas and Scarlett Gates. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
