It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chuck Alton (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan), born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, who passed away on April 15, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alton and Marion Alton; his brothers-in-law, Peter Gallpen and Joe Donahue; and also, Charles, Isabel Nix, Camille and Connor English.
He is survived by: his wife Rhaya; his daughter Nanette Estabrooks (Patrick); his grandchildren, Lauren Estabrooks and Nicole Estabrooks; his daughter Heather Ohlmann (Russell); his granddaughter Naomi Degenhardt (Kerry); his great grandchildren, Josephine, Claire and Gilbert; his siblings, Joe Alton (Esther), Karen Specht (Hans) and Tim Alton (Wonda); his sisters-in-law, Ellie Donahue, Betti Gallpen, Marj Kope (Jim) and Carol Davis (George Owen); and his granddaughter Caitlin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to current Covid restrictions, a private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 1:00 pm, with the interment to follow at the Blue Hill Cemetery.
