She was predeceased by : her husband Joe. She is survived by : her children, Murray Janis (Penny), Elaine Mulatz, Dianne Prentice (Chip), Collette Janis and Joanne Gregoire (Joe); her siblings, Robert (Audrey), David (Jackie), Jean, Elmerene and Rita (Ron); and her siblings-in-law, Eleanor and Lawrence (Evelyn). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Clara's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
