He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm "Scotty" McKinnon Brown and Edith Ada Ruth; his sons, Doug and Scott; his siblings, Gord, Walt, Jim, Muriel Hallett, Ruth Kober and Bonnie Gruell; and his in-laws, Ellen Brown, Beverley Brown, Patti Brown, Ed Kober and Vern Ritchie.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Elaine Kew; his children, Mike (Shelley), Kris (Murray), Cheryl (Ron) and Vicki (Chuck); his daughter-in-law Ruby; his grandchildren, Michael, Brett, Jeff (Lindsay), Lisa, Shawn, Jennifer (Mike), Natasha, Gage, Shayla (Kyle), Rheannon, Kordell (TiaRae), Crystal, Neil, Kevin (Tia) and Erica (Quinn); his great grandchildren, Lily, Jared, Kylee, Emma, Bailey, Kia, Ambrose, Emory, Linus, Isaac, Jaxon, Bentley, Nixon, Briella, Brynlee, Chevy, Sierra, Riley and Brody; his siblings, Elsie McNeilly (Ivan), Malcolm "Mic" (Lynne), Mary Ritchie, Rod (Bonnie-Lea), Heather McMillan (David) and Ronald "Buck" (Cheryl); and his brother-in-law Earl Gruell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Moose Jaw Funeral Home (268 Mulberry Ln, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 1N4).
