He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie and Niels; his sisters, Thelma Nielsen, Ollie Legare (Maurice) and Dorothy Russell (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Slim Debolt (MaryLou), Gary Debolt (Dodie), Rose Debolt and Kay Graham.
He is survived by: his wife Edna; his sons, Brad Nielsen (Wendy), Dave Nielsen (Alle) and Len Nielsen; his grandchildren, Eric Nielsen, Nicole Nielsen, Taylor Nielsen and Michael Nielsen (Brea Stobbs); his great grandchild Bow Nielsen; and his siblings-in-law, Jacki Balon (Percy) and John Debolt. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, as well as many, many friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Private Family Service will be held.
