She was predeceased by: her father Julius Moen; her mother-in-law Mary Palmer; her siblings, Orville Moen (Gene), James Moen, Bennie Moen, Raymond Moen, Mabel Rindahl (Ralph), Clarine Furseth (John), Gertie Johnson (Oscar) and Murial Pederson (Clinton); and her brother-in-law Robert Palmer.
She is survived by: her husband Murray Palmer; her sons, Stu Palmer (Kusum), Garth Palmer (Kim) and Jay Palmer (Essie); her siblings, Harold Moen (Renetta), Agnes Millang (Lester) and Edith Kononoff (Wally); and her sister-in-law Gladys Moen. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Ellen's name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.
