He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Duchak and Rose Duchak; his children, Kathryn, David, Rodney and Susan; his siblings, Metro, Stan, Nick, George, Jenny and Mary; his close friend Mona Duchak; his son Rod Duchak; his sister Olga Hirt; his granddaughters, Maureen Wentworth (Ed) and Beverly Wharton (John); and his great grandchildren, Estella, Franklin Wentworth and J. J. Wharton.
