He was predeceased by: his brother Kenneth; and his parents, Margaret and Hank McDowell. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Tammy Kangas (Brian), Tanya Gottwald, Tina Toshack (Fred), Brian Kittlaus (Michelle) and Mona Kittlaus (Brett); his grandchildren, Kristen, Megan, Sarah, Logan, Shannon (Taylor), Michelle (Joe), Brett (Janet), Micheal (Rae Lynn), Kieauna (Max) and Reece; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Dax, Sullivan and Bentley.
