She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew; her parents, Simon Wornath and Christine Wornath; her siblings, Albert Wornath (Marie), Bertha Kober (Ted), Adelea Miller (Peter), Hilda Silzer (Karl), Annetta Silzer (Herman), Leontine Wornath, Otto Wornath and Clara Fiege (Kasper); her sister-in-law Ingeborg Wornath; her niece Lorretta Wornath; and her nephew Norman Silzer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.

In memory of Gertrude Thomas, donations made to the St. Olaf Memorial Fund or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
