She was predeceased by: her husband Nasib Singh Chhokar; and her siblings, Prakash Singh, Prakash Kaur, Charan Kaur and Nachhatter Chhokar.
She is survived by: her children, Santokh (Harbans), Surjit (Kamaljit) and Surinder Singh (Joga); and her grandchildren, Jagjit Bahadar (Bhawarjit), Jaspal (Amandeep), Gurjeet (Sukhdeep), Jaswant (Rita), Amritpal (Khyati) and Sunjit (Amandeep Anita). She is also survived by the great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, only 10 people will be allowed in at one time.
Flowers are gratefully declined, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Gian Chhokar's name may be made to Gurudwara Sahib Regina.
