He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his son Sheldon; his mother Mary (Easton); and his siblings, Fred, Calvin, Jaclynn Louise, Nettie, Marie and Margaret.
He is survived by: his brother Sam; his children, Sharei, Sam Jr. (Shelli) and Sharlene (Paul); and his grandchildren, Sean, Bret, Bryn (Brett), Alix (Luke), Sarah (Pedro) and Carter (Tyller). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
