He was predeceased by: his wife Frances McClelland; his brother Bob; and his sister-in-law Shirley of Toronto. He is survived by: his son Norman; his daughter-in-law Karen; and his granddaughter Laura of Regina. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
