He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor; his parents, Steve Kerestes and Ada Kerestes of Swan River, MB; his brother Glenn Kerestes of Swan River, MB; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Mary Tuzyk of Dauphin, MB; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Wetick of Ethelbert, MB..
He is survived by: his daughter Sheryl Kergen (Craig) of Crossfield, AB; his grandson Tyler (Erin); his great grandchild Willow of Merickville, ON; his granddaughter Alexandra Kergen of Calgary, AB; his daughter Barbara Pierce (Todd); his grandchildren, Samantha (Matt Allen) and Paige of Moose Jaw, SK; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Kerestes of Swan River, MB, Carol McBurney (David) of Portage, Raymond Wetick of Ethelbert, MB and Joseph Tuzyk (Barb) of Dauphin, MB. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
