She was predeceased by: her father Robert Barton (Bert); her sister Mae Sinclair (Ralph); and her mother Dorothy Rice (Chester). She is survived by: her husband James; her children, Steve Herring (Phyllis), Michael Herring, Diane Gass (Timothy) and Cindy Stevens (Vernon); her grandchildren, Kenneth Herring (Amy), Kara Bastarache, Lindsey Stevens and Kyle Stevens; her great grandchild May Bastarache; and her brother Wayne Barton (Sharon). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Cemetery.
