She was predeceased by: her mother Marguerite Bruce; her stepfather Stuart Bruce; her uncle Jim Rice; and her aunt Maureen Rice. She is survived by: her husband Randy; her stepdaughters, Kerri and Rhonda; her grandchildren, Arianna Apperley (Ben), Cuda Ferguson and Alexander Schmegelsky; her great grandchild Deacon Apperley; and her cousins, Jim Rice (Laura), Tom Rice, Janice Pogorzelec (John) and Bob Rice (Paula).
Joanne and Randy started traveling in 2008 and after their first trip they caught the travel bug, going on a southern vacation every year until Covid hit.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joanne's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
