It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Elaschuk (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan), born in Calder, Saskatchewan, who passed away on February 21, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Helen Elaschuk and Thomas Elaschuk; his siblings, Mary, Elsie, Peter and James; his son Brian; and his grandchildren, Benjamin Jacobson and Pam Spencer.

He is survived by : his wife Anne; and his children, Marilyn Kuntz (Al), Margaret Johnstone (Kim), Tim Elaschuk (Naomi) and Michael Elaschuk (Lila). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

John always loved playing music in a band and was still entertaining in senior homes with his wife and friends until Covid lockdowns.
