He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ronald (Frank), Gorden and Gary; his nephew Garth Rodgers; and his stepgrandson Brent Adrian.

He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Corinne (Ted Reed) of Gravelbourg, SK and Michael Rodgers of Winnipeg, MB; his grandchildren, Tyler Reed (Joellene) of Gull Lake, SK, Christoper Reed (Jeana) of Saskatoon, SK and Brian Reed (Jessica Mondor) of Gravelbourg, SK; and his sister Shirley Tatterie of Nova Scotia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and long-time friends.
