He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Tressel and Millie Tressel; his wife Iris Schick; and his siblings, Iris, Violet, Mervin, Gordon and Norman.
He is survived by: his sons, Merv (Tanya) and Doug (Holly); his grandchildren, Marty (Jen), Jesse (Aubrey), Logan and Paula (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Jordyn, Jackson and Oliver; and his brothers, Cal, Rus, Ross, Craig and Reg.
