He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorraine Bender and Robert Bender; and his siblings, Bob, Garry and Diane.
He is survived by: his close friend Bev Desnomie; his children, Chad Bender, Amanda Milne (Charlie) and Michael Bender (Becky); his stepchildren, Cord Desnomie (Crystal), Amber Desnomie and Kiane Desnomie (Zack); his grandchildren, Breea, Burke Milne, Haylee Woods, Luke Bender, Asher, Scarlette, Avery and Maverick Desnomie; his sister Donna Turner (Elwood); and his sister-in-law Sharon Bender. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home (268 Mulberry Ln, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 1N4).
