He was predeceased by : his parents, Emile Blanchard and Delvina Blanchard; his siblings, Maurice (Dorothy), Lucienne (George), Lucien (Pearl), Roland (Florence), Hubert (Elaine), Gabrielle, Raymond (Elizabeth) and Richard (Maryetta); and his brother-in-law Ray Daniel.

He is survived by : his sister Delores Daniel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
