She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Chesney (Harvey) and George Russell Simmons; and her brother Owen. She is survived by: her children, Ruth, Joe, Andy (Terry), Angela, Debra, Jeanny (Joe) and Kathi; her grandchildren, Cynthia, Christine, Charity, Jamie (Kim), Krystal (Ryan), Jeff, Jessie, Nick, Demetri, Lee (April), Terri (Joe), Lindee (Jamey), Cydney, Devin and Taylor; and her siblings, Bill (Betty-Ann), Lloyd, Robert, Pat and Esther (Ralph). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
