She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chester Johnson and Ethel Johnson; her husband Mervin Rice; her granddaughters, Maylynn and Avalene; her in-laws, Orval and Donalda Rice; her siblings, June Johnson, James, John Phillip and Robert Johnson; her nieces, Kathy and Susan Duchak; her sister-in-law Margaret Johnson; her close friends, Bill, Mary-Rose Reid and Gaudreau; her daughters, Carla Matt (Craig) and Shauna Pollock (Chantel McBride); her granddaughter Samantha Pollock (Hayden Elgren); her brother Keith Johnson (Wendy McLaren); her sister-in-law Esther Johnson; her brothers, Brian Salamondra (Bev), Billy Salamondra and Gary Salamondra (Jan Pazdzierski); Stephen Pollock. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Moose Jaw Funeral Home (268 Mulberry Ln, Moose Jaw, SK S6J 1N4).
