He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorne Mayer and June Mayer; and his brother Kelly. He is survived by: his sister Maureen Armitage (Doug); his nephew Jay Armitage (Tara); his great-nieces, Ruby and Hazel; his niece Carrie St Laurent (André); and his great-nephews, Isaac and Leo.
