He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Kempert and Russell Kempert; his siblings, George (Ruth Ann), Wayne and Velma Kirby; and his son Kenneth.
He is survived by: his daughter Wanda (Rick Sheppard) of Moose Jaw, SK; his daughter-in-law Sandy of Hinckley, Minnesota; his grandsons, Christopher of Moose Jaw, SK, Myles of Kelowna, BC and Jason of Hinckley, Minnesota; his stepgrandchildren, Tim of Hinkley, Minnesota, Michelle of Hinkley, Minnesota and Shelley of Hinkley, Minnesota; his great grandchildren, Taydem, Geneva and Kai; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Samantha, Jorden, Jacob, Sydney, Kyle, Caleb, Haley, Katie, Arabella, Addie and Declan; his siblings, Sharron Van Wagoner and Bill (Cathy); and his sister-in-law Ruth Ann (Frank Kennerly) of Woodstock, Ontario..
