He was predeceased by : his parents, Dmytro Wasylyk and Anne Wasylyk. He is survived by : his wife Judy Wasylyk; his son Justin (Arron); his grandchildren, Ila and Reese of Prince Albert, SK; his son Jeffrey (Robyn); his grandchildren, Nolan and Sawyer of Christopher Lake, SK; his daughter Jennifer (Hartfield) of Jasper, AB; his grandchildren, Rachel, Kara (Jamie) and Doug (Kayleen); his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Hanna; his grandson Mike (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Isabella and Nicholas; his brother Jerry Wasylyk (Pat) of Summerland, BC; his nephew Jason; and his niece Jodi. He is also survived by family stepchildren.

He was also recognized for his contributions to the construction industry in both Moose Jaw and Saskatchewan by the Canadian Construction Association, the Saskatchewan Construction Association, and the Moose Jaw Construction Association.
