Rae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Winnifred Rose and Frank Rose; and his brother Allen Rose (Bruce Dorward). He is survived by: his wife Michelle Ciona; his grandchildren, Brad (Michelle), Rowen, Ruby Rose, Jeremy Rose, Robyn (Steven), Mackynze Miller, Lee (Sarah), Andi Colby, Kristin (Jeff), Blake, Lilly, Curtis Kendal (Ashley) and Harper Colby; Carol Dorward, Wayne Rose (Anne) and Fay Balfour. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a moment to enjoy something Rae loved — a well-restored classic car, a curling match, or a peaceful afternoon in the garage.
