It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert George Alexander McKay (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan), born in Riverhurst, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Douglas McKay; his parents, Robert McKay and Mary McKay; his parents-in-law, Jack and Lydia Weinbender; his siblings, Gladys Eyres, Myrtle Metcalf, Alfred, James and David "Bruce" McKay; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon Eyres and John Metcalf.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah "Debbie", Douglas "Doug" and Richard "Rick"; his wife Maria; his children, Danielle (Jared), Alexandra (Daniel), Chance, Meghan (Robbie), Brett, Madison, Robin (Derrick), Colton and Jaxon; his siblings, Gordon McKay (Irene), Hilda Wishart and Sheila Berger (Albert); and his sisters-in-law, Lynda Seibel (Henry) and Beverly Leaman (Ellis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
