He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor McEwen and Ellen McEwen; and his son Anthony McEwen. He is survived by: his wife Doris McEwen; his son Evan McEwen (Bobbi); his grandchildren, Shylo McConnel (Sophie Koster), Daylen McEwen and Benjamin Tischer Ogg; his stepdaughter Cindy Smith (Mark); his granddaughters, Hailey Therens and Emma Therens; his stepson Alain Simoneau (Angela); his granddaughter Neva Simoneau; his stepson Jahson Simoneau (Jessica); his granddaughter Lily Simoneau; his brother Ken McEwen (Karin); his siblings' children, Shannan Nicholson (Blair), Dale McEwen (Christie Bjolverud) and Kristyn McEwen; his brother Don McEwen (Joselyn); his nephews, Donnelly McEwen (Jackie) and Harley McEwen (Aimee); his brother Doug McEwen (Robynn Hamilton); his nieces, Amber Thedroff, Kelsey Thedroff (Devon Angus) and Kyleigh Coad (Colin); his sister Pat White; and his niece Erin White-Manwaring (Peter).
